Atropine Ophthalmic Ointment belongs to the group of medicines called anti-muscarinics. Atropine blocks the receptors in the muscles of the eye. It helps with inflammation and relaxes the pupils of the eye when constricted.
Dosage: Follow directions given by your veterinarian. It may be given by rolling down the lower lid and putting a 1/4 inch strip in lower lid.
